Hi there.

Welcome to my blog.  I really hope you enjoy seeing my favourite things.

Savoury Garlic Knots

Savoury Garlic Knots

Hey everyone!

Life has been pretty busy! So much is happening with the little one, I find I am consumed with him. But luckily for this mom right now, he is taking his morning nap, while listening to classic 50s music. Just like his old lady. With this free time I have today I thought to myself, I should jump on here and talk to you guys. I would like to to start off by talking about the struggle it is to cook with a little baby. It is no easy feat. I think though I have finally got it down to a science, for now while he hasn't started to run around. We recently got a seater that has toys on it, and he loves it. He just sits in there and has a ball. So while I cook, I put him in

I decided to revamp my website, it needed some more oomph. So I looked around for my new look, and found it in this. And to celebrate I wanted to try a new recipe. Guess what! They are amazing! Mind you since it was spur of the moment, I didn't have fresh garlic cloves and substituted it with garlic powder and chives they were still extremely delicious. Next time I make them though I will have the cloves and they will be even more divine.

And what is a great recipe good for if not shared with others, many many others. These make for a great appetizer and party snack. Easy to whip up and a hit with anyone.

The ingredients are super simple! Something simple, easy, what could be better? Nothing. Because anything simple and easy is great. Especially for impromptu urges to try a new recipe.

Grocery List

  • Pillsbury Pizza Dough ( 1 can will make 8 knots)
  • Butter
  • 4 Garlic Cloves

Yup! That's it. If you thought that was easy, wait till you see the steps!

Steps

  1. Cut the Pizza Dough in 8" strips
  2. Tie up those knots
  3. Preheat oven for 350F and bake those knots on an oiled sheet for 15-20 minutes ( or until golden)
  4. Close to the end of the timer you set, melt 2 Tablespoons in a pan with 4 cloves garlic, finely minced.
  5. Roll the knots in the butter mix when out of oven.

Since I did not have the garlic cloves, I used about 1/2 tablespoon of garlic powder and 1/2 tablespoon of chives.

That's all it takes to have your very own Garlic Knots to enjoy.

Let me know of any other cool simple recipes to try out. I love to try new recipes as much as I can

Have a fantastic day!

Signing off,

Becca
